The practice is believed to have been first established by John MacDougall (1854—1947) who qualified from Glasgow Veterinary School in 1879 and arrived in Oban that same year. The practice was originally agricultural only but evolved into a mixed practice. The practice has been in the current building for around 29 years.
We currently have five vets, two nurses, one care assistant and three reception staff working at the surgery.
